Leavenworth Saint Patrick's Day Parade 2021

Calendar Date:

Saint Patricks Day Parade route

The Leavenworth Saint Patrick's Day Committee holds a parade each year in downtown Leavenworth beginning at noon on March 17. This year the regular parade route will be altered to accommodate traffic at the Riverfront Community Center, 123 S. Esplanade, for a vaccine clinic. Parking near the Riverfront Community Center in the lot south of the building will be restricted for this purpose and police will be present. The vaccine clinic is by appointment only, those interested must fill out a form online, and be in either Phase 1 or 2 of the State of Kansas vaccination plan.

The parade committee is separate from the City of Leavenworth and consists of volunteers dedicated to celebrating Irish heritage in Leavenworth. They ask all participants and spectators to wear a mask and stay within their own groups. No candy will be thrown out at the parade.

In the route shown above, yellow lots are free, public lots available to anyone.

Visitors to the City of Leavenworth can check out other attractions on our Convention and Visitors Bureau website, including a directory list of restaurants in the area.
