CITY PROSECUTOR

The City of Leavenworth, Kansas is seeking proposals to serve as the City Prosecutor.  The position works under the general supervision of the City Manager and is responsible for the prosecution of cases in municipal court, serving as legal advisor, court preparation and legal research.

Requires a juris doctorate from an accredited law school and must be licensed to practice law in the State of Kansas; be in good standing with the Kansas Bar; and possess five (5) years experience in the practice of law.  Prefer prior experience in criminal justice practice.
