Recreation Activity Scholarship Program

Qualifying individuals or families who live in the city limits of Leavenworth and are currently receiving public financial assistance may be awarded a $100 credit per approved person per year to be used toward certain Leavenworth Parks and Recreation Department activities. 

Applications must be renewed each year. The full policy is available below along with an application form. 

Scholarships are reviewed by appointment only. You must call Tabor Medill at 913-758-6648 to set the appointment. 

Programs available for scholarship use include:

• Aquacise
• Bitty Basketball
• Community Center Passes
• Riptides Swim Team
• Swim Lessons
• Water Walking
• Youth Baseball/Softball
• Youth Basketball
