IT Specialist I

The City of Leavenworth is hiring an IT Specialist to support critical services. The IT Support Specialist serves as a primary point of contact to perform the initial triage and resolution of incidents reported to the help desk. The IT Specialist is responsible for setting up and providing technical support for a full range of business technology, including computers (hardware and software). You will provide outstanding customer service, deliver technical assistance, and support the network infrastructure, telecommunications, mobile devices, telephone systems, and audio-visual equipment. This role will support all things IT, i.e. VMWare, storage, servers, OS, switches, AD. We provide regular training to stay up-to-date on emerging technology. This position will be a key member of a small team working to plan the future of the City IT infrastructure. The City provides the opportunity to grow your skills and be hands on with technology.
