Trash bag delivery ends in 2023

The City of Leavenworth is ending its trash bag delivery program. There will not be a delivery of trash bags in March.

A dramatic rise in cost of trash bags was a major factor in the City’s decision to conclude the program. Later this summer, the City plans a switch to polycart and bag trash pickup service. There will be more information soon on the City’s website about this switch. Residents who would like to continue using trash bags only for trash pickup will still be able to do so.

As of June 2, 2023, the City no longer has additional trash bags.
