North Esplanade Park's sidewalk overlooks the Missouri River and Centennial Bridge.

 

Physical Address:  500 North Esplanade Street

Park Hours:  6 a.m. to 10 p.m., daily

This park runs along the top of the scenic bluff of the Missouri River and connects to Bob Dougherty Park to the west.

  • Walking/Biking Trail

 

Shelter - Reserve by the day.  No electricity or water.

40' x 24'  - Reserve by the day ($25 Resident/$30 Non-resident) - 7 tables included.  Minimum 48-hour advance purchase required, longer if noise and/or beer permits are needed.  Reserve online through Eventbrite (convenience fees apply). 

Park History:

North Esplanade Park was platted as a city park when the city was first established in 1854, making it the oldest city park in Kansas.
