Each year the City of Leavenworth budgets funding for major street repairs, called the Pavement Management Program. This is in addition to the regular crack seal repair, pothole repair and patching done by streets division staff throughout the year.

The City of Leavenworth will begin a food truck pilot program on May 1 to increase activity and food options in the downtown. Local businesses within the downtown zoning district can apply for a permit to reserve adjacent on-street parking spaces for a food truck. Permits can be requested for a single day or recurring days. The program will run for six months from May 1 to October 31.  Permits will be reviewed and approved on a first come, first serve basis, with a total of seven permits available.
