Saturday, April 1, Tuesday, April 4 & Saturday, April 8

On April 1, the city of Leavenworth will host its annual Easter egg hunt at 10th Avenue Park (intersection of South 14th Street and New Lawrence Road). The hunt starts at 2:30 p.m. sharp, with kids scrambling for the golden egg that can be turned in for a special prize! This event is free for kids 12 and younger.

On April 4, head to the KCKCC Pioneer Career Center (1901 Spruce St.) for a free community celebration from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Families can enjoy crafts, Easter eggs, a snack walk, a coloring contest, balloon and caricature artists, a face painter, cotton candy, a picture with the Easter Bunny and more!

Then, on April 8, Sagasu Martial Arts and Leavenworth's Best After School & Summer Camp will host their own egg hunt at Ray Miller Park (4201 S. 4th St.), with plenty of games and martial arts demonstrations. Local vendors also will be on hand to answer questions about their services.
