Hometown Proud: 5A State Champions Girls Basketball
Leavenworth High School Girls Varsity Basketball team made history two years in a row, winning the Kansas State High School Activities Association's 5A division championship.
In 2014, the team maintained an overall record of 29-1, with a district record of 10-1. Nationally, they were ranked 113. The head coach was Derek Zeck.
