Sanitary Sewer Overflow Reported on April 30, 2019 near 1415 Ottawa

At 9:01 p.m. April 30, 2019, a citizen called stating that a manhole was overflowing in the area of 1415 Ottawa Street. Water Pollution Control responded, jetted the line and stopped the overflow at 10:30 p.m. Because of this overflow, wastewater reached a nearby creek at the above location. Water Pollution Control have placed "contaminated creek" signs out. Samples were taken to test for E. coli. Water Pollution Control asks the public to stay out of the creek east of 1415 Ottawa Street.
