Cost Share Programs

50/50 Sidewalk Reimbursement Project and the New Commercial Program

The City has a program to assist property owners who repair or replace their sidewalks. The general guidelines of the program are shown below. Qualifying projects are eligible for up to 50% reimbursement to the owner (not to exceed $5.00 sq. ft.).

  1. Request City participation in advance of construction.
    • Include a description of the work to be done and a cost estimate before construction.
    • A cost-share request will not be considered after the construct is started or completed. You must have a pre-approval from the Public Works Director
  2. Obtain a permit and necessary inspections.
  3. The city only participates in sidewalk construction - NOT drive entrance expenses.
  4. Costs must be within the range of prices paid by the City on similar projects.

The current reimbursement is up to one-half (1/2) of $5 per square ft.

After work is completed and passes an inspection, a paid invoice needs to be submitted for approval before the City can finish processing your request for reimbursement.

Please call regarding the Commercial Program for guidelines.
